Dr. Henry Kimmel, Psy.D.
Dr. Henry Kimmel is a Clinical Psychologist (PSY 26131). His areas of specialization include adult psychotherapy, gender aware psychotherapy with men, and geropsychotherapy (adults aged 55 and above). Dr. Kimmel has extensive training in working with older adults, having been awarded a Postdoctoral Fellowship at WISE & Healthy Aging in Santa Monica, CA. His doctoral dissertation was about men and depression.
Dr. Kimmel received the Star Vega Award in diversity psychology and was recognized as the Student of Excellence in Clinical Psychology by the Phillips Graduate Institute on the school’s 40th anniversary. His publications include “The Medicare Social Club” (www.costsofcare.org).
